As #14 of 20 improvements for our 20th Anniversary season, Casa Cupula is investing in sustainable solar hot water heating.
It seems ironic that in a town that gets so much sunshine, we’ve been paying for gas to heat our hot water! That is being addressed now with two new industrial sized solar hot water heaters. They will heat your hot water with sustainable sunshine, cutting our carbon emissions and saving money for gas.
This is the second major area of sustainability for Casa Cupula this year as our #1 improvement was the acquisition of a new Mercedes Benz EQA SUV for guest transportation. This electric vehicle has cut our need to buy gasoline in half, and has been a guest favorite.
This photo shows the new hot water heater installed on the roof of our Pool Club. It’s nestled among the solar photoelectric panels we already have. We’ll have another announcement about sustainability in our list of improvements soon: stay tuned!
